Dennia Kay Champlin, age 60, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at her residence.  Originally from Kennet, Missouri, she later relocated and settled in Palestine.  She was preceded in death by her father, AW Champlin; mother Christine Skaggs Champlin Whitaker; stepfather, Windle Whitaker and her brother, Mark Allen Champlin.

She loved her dogs, Homer, Tyson and Sassy and was also an avid gardener who never met a plant she didn't love.  She also liked to hold yard sales and was learning how to bake bread.

She is survived by her daughter Shaina Christine Gardiner, her bonus daughter Jessie Carriere and husband Cory Carriere, her sister Vicky Plank, her very special aunt, Patricia Kocher and five grandchildren, Jada Eve Womack, Tessa Womack, Johnna Carriere, Cammi Carriere and David Fredrick, Jr.  along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and many special friends.

Though a service is not scheduled at this time a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
